Phenix City, Alabama is a city found in portions of Lee and Russell Counties. Approximately 36,500 people resided here in 2017. Phenix City is a suburb of Columbus, Georgia, and it is sometimes referred to as Hub City. Phenix City is a primarily residential community, with most of the major tourist attractions situated in neighboring Columbus.
